More answers to that burning question; “if that ain’t a Beachcomber – what is it?”

We were recently introduced to the T70 Kit House (thank you Matt Saxon), which was offered in the 1960’s as a Department of Housing War Service Home. The similarities to the Beachcomber are particularly apparent in the sundeck and overall shape, but features such as the highlight windows and exposed beams are absent.

The original plans for this 1964 home in West Pymble also indicate differences in the internal layout. Still cute but.
